Community House provides low cost office accommodation and training/meeting facilities for local voluntary and community organisations.  It currently houses around 20 voluntary groups. It offers two well-equipped accessible meeting rooms for up to 25 people and these are available for hire at reasonable rates. Voluntary organisations in the Harrogate area are welcome to use the Community House Information Centre. There is a small library containing books, leaflets, reports and other resources. These include books on funding (for example, directories of grant-making trusts), personnel issues, creating and managing new projects, fund-raising, and promoting your organisation’s activities. The library is open from 9:00am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday. You can borrow items for up to two weeks though a few of the books are for reference only.  If you want to know whether a particular item is available to borrow telephone us on 01423 504074 or email cvs@harrogate.org. The library catalogue is currently being updated and will be available to view on this page soon.

The Information Centre has computer software designed to help voluntary organisations to identify the trusts and other sources most likely to provide funding for their particular projects and also has access to the Internet available for searching online directories and other sources of support, advice and information.
