Domestic Abuse Forum
Harrogate & District Domestic Abuse Forum meets quarterly on Wednesdays 1.00-3.00 pm at Harrogate District Hospital. The meetings enable workers to learn more about the work of other agencies and about issues relating to domestic abuse. From time to time the Forum also organises larger events to raise awareness on important issues. The Forum aims to promote cooperation between agencies for mutual support, contact, and updating on issues relating to Domestic Abuse.

Domestic Abuse Awareness Training
The Forum has also been involved in the development of FREE training sessions for frontline staff from both statutory and voluntary organisations who may come into contact with adults or children experiencing domestic abuse. The training is sponsored by the Harrogate District Safer Communities Partnership as part of their commitment to the North Yorkshire Domestic Abuse Initiative.
