Harrogate CVS produces the following publications:
* Where to Turn
An A-Z Directory of voluntary and community groups throughout Harrogate, Ripon and the surrounding areas. The first District-wide edition produced in partnership with Ripon CVS is now available. See CVS Directory for the online directory or you can collect a hard copy from either Community House in Harrogate or Community House in Ripon.
* Guide 4 Life
This is a guide for young people in years 8, 9 and 10. It provides information on various issues and advice about where to turn to for help. The guide is available online at http://www.guide4lifeharrogate.com/ . Topics include Feeling Different, Managing Emotions, Safety, Relationships, Beating Boredom, Alcohol, Rights and Responsibilities. Copies of the pocket-sized guide are available from Harrogate & Area CVS. There is a charge of £2.30 per copy. With support from the Harrogate District Safer Communities Partnership, HACVS has now produced postcards to promote the website and the availability of the booklets. Free cards are available to collect from Harrogate Community House - please email cvs@harrogate.org if you are interested in receiving copies.
* Express the MessA Directory of services meeting the emotional needs of children and young people in Harrogate District. This guide is mainly for use by workers and parents. Unfortunately this guide is currently out of print but is available online at http://www.expressthemess.co.uk/
* Cancer Support Contacts
This leaflet gives details of local services and groups which can provide information, advice and support for cancer patients, their relatives and carers.

* Mental Health Handbook
This guide is for adults, aged 18 and above who experience mental distress, their families and carers, workers in the field of mental health and anyone interested in mental health. The purpose of the handbook is to provide a resource guide to the range of advice, help and information that is available both locally and nationally. North Yorkshire Countryside Directory for People with Disabilities
Open Country launched the revised edition in 2009. The directory was put together by people with a disability for people with a disability, though the places and information included will be useful to anyone. The directory is available online at http://www.opencountry.org.uk/ as well as being available in paper copies. There is a direct link to the directory here

Domestic Abuse Services
This directory contains information that the North Yorkshire Domestic Abuse Coordinators have collated and identified as being possible sources of support for victims, survivors and perpetrators of domestic abuse within the county/district. The information within this directory is primarily intended for the use of agency workers and other support organisations, to enable them to signpost service users appropriately and to ensure effective multi-agency working.
The information contained in this directory covers Harrogate and Craven unless stated otherwise and was compiled in 2008.
